Flowers at the Chapel

Here at the Chapel, we have our very own floral shop, hints the name Chapel of the Flowers. Here our couples can customize and create their own bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres, and even hair accessories. The florists can work with any flower, color, or ribbon that you may like. We offer anything from a simple red Rose or to an exotic Mango Calla Lilly. The floral department is very creative and artistic, and they are sure to meet your expectations!

Cheers!

Claire Coombes and Robert Buckingham flew all the way from England and were married here at the Little Chapel of Flowers. Claire was wearing a very fun blue sparkling dress which was accompanied by equally sparkley nail polish! Claire and Robert booked Elvis to sing and marry them and were definitely not disappointed with their choice as they could be seen dancing down the aisle to "Wonder of You." They also sang along with "Love Me Tender" at the candle lighting and danced and sang back out of the chapel to "Good Luck Charm"!

Claire and Robert had been together for 31/2 - 4years and were very much in love. They were an adorable couple! We are very grateful to have had a part in their wedding and hope they have many long and loved filled years together.

A Shared Experience

Brittany Wilkerson didn't need much influencing to use the Chapel of the Flowers for her wedding site. Her parents were married here at the chapel 25 years ago and enjoyed their experience so much that they wanted their daughter to share in that joy.

Today they became Mr. and Mrs. Phil Houghton before the happy Wilderson family members. In a few weeks the couple will be leaving for England to start their life's journey as husband and wife.
Our final request was that they return to the chapel in 5 years to celebrate their renewal of vows for their 30th and 5th years of marriage.

Mr. & Mrs. Flores

It was the day that Thelema Medrano and Enrique Flores were to be married. Thelema and Enrique had chosen to have a First Look Service. With this type of ceremony neither the bride nor the groom see each other the day of the wedding. Enrique was standing in the front of the Victorian chapel eagerly awaiting the grand entrance of his bride. Thelema was outside of the chapel doors in the lobby with her father and brother who were escorting her down the aisle. She looked stunning as her white dress contrasted with the dark curls cascading around her shoulders. Bride and Groom arrived separately to the chapel but left together as one, Mr. & Mrs. Flores. Thelema and Enrique have now started on their journey as husband and wife. We wish them many years of joy and success as they grow and learn together through the years that they will share together.

Intimate First Looks

Young and in love, Sandy and Lacey Van Every planned an intimate first look service here at Chapel of the Flowers. The couple traveled alone all the way from Charlotte, North Carolina to secretly get married here in Las Vegas.
To make their wedding day a dream, they did not want to see each other before the ceremony began. Sandy came on his own to the chapel and awaited for Lacey. Once the Chapel doors opened and they saw each other for the first time, there smiles never faded, and you could tell this was true love.

A Family Affair

When I met Tracy and Brian Conwell their story took me by surprise. Look at this couple and you'll see what I mean; they are so young looking and they have 2 young grandchildren. Does this mean that the old saying is that children keep you young? It appears that this is true for Tracy and Brian.

Driving from Mesa, AZ, the couple brought their family to help them celebrate their 20th anniversay and enjoy the fun of Las Vegas.

The Chapel of the Flowers staff enjoyed celebrating your special day with you and we hope to see you in 5 years to make your 25th anniversary extra special.

Planner Assistant

Hello! My name is Marci. I am doing an internship with the Chapel of the Flowers as an assistant to the wedding planners. I absolutely love my internship for the variety of tasks I get to do in the Photo Gallery, Wedding Information and Gift Shop. I knew I wanted to work in the wedding industry after watching the movie, The Wedding Planner... believe it or not! :) I love to plan weddings, events, parties - you name it! I feel so privileged to be a part of a great staff that makes each wedding special for each and every couple.

I almost started crying with her...

This past Saturday, I had the pleasure of coordinating the 3 1/2 year Vow Renewal of Alex and Michelle. When they arrived, Michelle was crying and laughing through her tears because her awesome husband had planned this surprise Renewal for the two of them while here in Vegas. It took me by surprise but I almost started crying with her. They are from Washington D.C. which made my day because my home is close by to D.C. and I always enjoy running into people who I can chat about areas of town we both know back home.

Not only did Alex plan a great surprise for his wife, but they also had so many other fun plans while they were here in Vegas, from attending the Garth Brooks concert that night, to spending the entire next day at the Grand Canyon.

Alex and Michelle have been married 3 1/2 years but have been together a total of 8 1/2 years. They were first married on the beach and had brought the same vows from their wedding 3 years ago to read to each other today. I got to stand behind our videographer and listen in on what they were saying to eachother. With each line, I'd quietly say "aww" or "that's so sweet."

Not only did I feel privileged getting to be a witness to the love between the two of them, but to get to laugh and joke around with them as well really made my day.

Thanks Alex and Michelle for being super cool and letting me be a part of your (second) special day!

New Blogger!

Hi Chapel of the Flowers Blog readers. My name is Samantha and I am a Wedding Coordinator at Chapel of the Flowers and will be one of the newest bloggers here. I'm excited to get to know my couples and share their stories and my favorite things about their ceremony with you.

Wedding Coordinator, Mercedes

Hello!
I am Mercedes Sanchez, and I am a wedding coordinator at Chapel of the Flowers which is located on the one and only Las Vegas Strip!
I am just sixteen, and I am finally a senior at Valley High School, Academy of Hospitality and Tourism.
One of my favorite hobbies is scrapbooking! I love taking pictures and making special memories.
Along with that, I enjoy watching sports, but I love playing them!
But the one thing you just have to know about me is that I love to laugh and have fun, what sixteen year old doesn't?!

Blogger Mania!

Hello, Blog readers! I am Rebecca. I am a wedding coordinator and am one of the many new faces here at the Chapel of the Flowers. I enjoy writing, though I have never blogged before, so I'm sure you'll see many new posts from me.

I am happily married to my best friend in the whole world, and have a beautiful little girl named September Rose.

I love working at the Chapel of the Flowers as a wedding coordinator because I love to see the bride and groom on their wedding day before and after the ceremony. My favorite type of ceremony is the First Look, It's where the groom arrives early to fill out his paperwork and is hidden inside the chapel. The bride arrives a little later and after signing the last few papers is given her bouquet and stands out of sight in the lobby of the chapel. The music plays and she has a grand entrance into the chapel and they see each other all dressed up for the first time. Sometimes the groom will even have tears in his eyes at how beautiful his lovely bride is!

Here at the Chapel of Flowers I know it's safe to say that each and every employee works their hardest to make sure the couple's day is memorable, beautiful and every thing they imagined.

Revewal of Vows

Who says you can't remarry as often as you wish?

Lawrence and Elsie were married here at Chapel of the Flowers in 1985 and enjoyed their experience so much that every 5 years they return here to renew their vows. Today, Elsie wore her mother's wedding dress and veil to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary.

The chapel grounds have changed since they first wed but this couple looked regal and splendid as they vowed to continue their journey of life together. Their hearty goodbye was a resonant "See you in 5 years"!
