That special day!

Yesterday, Michael and Celeste Armistead received the perfect wedding day that they had patiently waited for. They had married in a civil ceremony before Michael was deployed and now they wanted the ceremony that goes with the vows. The groom was all smiles and the bride was glowing as she waited anxiously to walk down the aisle. There is nothing better than witnessing a wedding that has come to fruition and how much it means to the couple. Congratulations Michael and Celeste!

Elvis is alive and well!

Today Elvis lives and he has married his Priscilla all over again! Kevin & Sally Davis from the Isle of Sheppey, UK were an awesome couple and really had fun with their wedding. I love to see people really enjoying their day and truly making it just what they want. Congratulations!

The Trappel Family

Oliver and Petera Trappel came to the Chapel of the Flowers all the way from Germany to renew their vows. They have been married for 3 years and have 2 beautiful children. They were such a delightful couple to work with and I could tell how much they were in love.

A car accident to remember!

Gregg and Tammy met in July 1996 when Tammy rear ended a huge truck with her little car. There were no injuries and not even a scratch on the truck but Tammy took her car to be fixed at Creek Collision Center, where Gregg was a mechanic.
When Gregg and Tammy saw each other there were definite sparks and when Gregg finished the repairs they went on their first date. Two glorious weeks later Gregg proposed! Gregg had made all the arrangements himself and five weeks later they were married in a gazebo in a minister's backyard in Kansas City. Their three children and Tammy's cousin were the only attendees.

Thirteen years later they are more in love than ever! Tammy and Gregg chose our beautiful chapel to renew their vows of 13 yrs, and from the staff standpoint it was wonderful to see how in love they are! Piece of advice from this couple? "It hasn't been always easy but it has always been worth it!" Chapel of The Flowers we love celebrating renewal of vows, first time marriages, eighth marriages, whatever it may be were happy to have you celebrate your occasion with us.

Five years later....

Yesterday we had a lovely Belgian couple here to renew their vows. Marc & Catherine had been married here at Chapel of the Flowers by our awesome minister Doug five years ago. They were ecstatic to learn that Doug would again be performing the ceremony; They even brought their original unity candle! I think that it's absolutely wonderful to have this awesome couple come back to Chapel of the Flowers to relive and renew their vows!

Arrive in style

Aimee Faldyn and Tracy Hicks got married on Friday, October 2nd in the beautiful Glass Gardens at Chapel of the Flowers. Aimee and her bridesmaid started their walk down the aisle by exiting a vintage cadilliac. The couple also had Elvis sing at their ceremony. The wedding was beautiful and the outdoor pictures are amazing. The couple had rented the cadilliac for the wedding and it was such a fun alternative to a limo.

Love & Ink!

Talk about fun and original people! Dana & Dawn came to vegas with 2 things in mind... the big tatoo convention and their wedding! How did these 2 meet? Any guesses? Dana was Dawn's very first tatoo artist. She loved it so much that she kept going back and back and back AND back till he asked her to stay forever.

Age has never stoped this couple either. At 44 and 23, just by talking with them you can really tell they love each other. Dawn told me that she wasn't nervous but that she was excited to marry her best friend.

Love is simple but yet complex... its all about how you handle it. Dana & Dawn Allen will hold their love not only as spouses but as friends. To me that is one of the most important things in a marriage is being friends! Good luck Dana & Dawn and congratulations!
